I’m Marla. Gimme a Minute. I wanna talk to you about pie.
Not machine-made-grocery-store pie. I’m talking about hand crafted, made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients pie. This is the beauty and deliciousness of Alice’s pies.
Whatcom County is surrounded by a great bounty of community grown, luscious produce. Apples. Berries. Rhubarb.
Alice takes the best locally sourced ingredients and using creativity and science, experiments with different ingredients, integrating and refining flavors.
Alice’s Pies are baked and distributed throughout the year for special days, holidays and every days.
From April through December, you’ll find your personal and family favorite at the Bellingham Farmer’s Market. Which, according to Sunset Magazine, is one of the top 10 farmer’s markets in the west.
There are three kinds of people who stop when they see the Alice’s Pie display. Those who say “I can’t.” Those who say “I want to.” And those who do. And there are some who take a bite, and instantly propose marriage to Alice.
Pie is nostalgia. The aroma conjures up memories of summer, holidays, family.
Taste a happy memory. Add a dollop of whipped cream, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream while you are at it.
